Image of Comet 17P Holmes on Oct 29, 2007 by Timothy Lockhart with a Meade DSI PRO II deep sky imager. Telescope is a Celestron SGT XLT 235 mm aperture, 2350mm focal length at cassegrain focus. 132 exposures stacked with Meade's Autostarsuite program,15 seconds each,for a total of 33 minutes. Brightness and contrast were adjusted using Photoshop CS3.
