Below image of comet 17P/Holmes on Dec 12, 2007 by Brian Kimball, Longmont Astronomical Society. ShoAlso showing in the images is the 12.2 magnitude galaxy NGC 1169 and the 14.4 magnitude UGC 2504 galaxy. Equipment used was Takahashi E180 Epsilon Astrograph and a SBIG ST2000XM CCD camera with Astrodon filters. LRGB=5:5:5:5 minutes with 1 minute sub frames
