Astronomy Day
The dates for Astronomy Day this year are in the spring on April 24, 2010 and in the fall on October 16, 2010. Local astronomical societies, planetariums, museums, and observatories will be sponsoring public viewing sessions, presentations, workshops, and other activities to increase public awareness about astronomy and our wonderful universe.
