First Telescope Observation

Astronomical League member societies support hundreds of events each year that provide the general public an opportunity to view some of the many beautiful and fascinating objects in the  universe through a telescope.  That first view of the craters on the Moon, the planet Saturn, the Orion Nebula, or  other astronomical object is a memorable moment. You may create an award certificate that commemorates your first view through a telescope. If you are a society member, encourage those who look through your scope to create a certificate as well.  If it is more convenient to fill out the certificate by hand, you may download it here.
